When approached by clients who recently emigrated and sought to establish a comforting new home, the challenge was clear: blend warmth, coziness, and security into their unfamiliar surroundings. Their request echoed a desire for tranquility amidst change, trusting in Servànt`s vision to achieve this delicate balance.

The journey began with a portrait of Tchaikovsky, prominently placed above the fireplace in the main living room. This single piece became the heart of the space, resonating as a central compositional element and infusing the home with a musical ambiance—a fitting tribute to the globally revered composer, whose works now resonate through the family’s daily life.

The design ethos embraced textured surfaces, avoiding stark whites in favor of rough-plastered walls and richly textured fabrics. Warm woods and Portuguese hues of terracotta, nude, and sea tones punctuated the space, meticulously chosen to reflect the owners’ tastes and enrich the narrative of their new environment.

In this interior, emphasis was placed on soft, inviting lighting and meticulous detailing—a celebration of hedonistic comfort and cherished traditions. It represents not just a space, but a new chapter filled with the familiar comforts of home, even in a foreign land.
