As with all Foster + Partners designs, the high-tech component is essential to its development. The concept is based on a compact table that, thanks to laterally sliding tops, functions not only as a surface for objects but also as a device that brings what is needed into the foreground.

The structure, crafted in lacquered steel in red, pewter, or bronze finishes, conceals a sophisticated mechanism that enables the transversal movement of the marble or eucalyptus tops — visually light yet structurally efficient.
